Your Student Council is in need of a new logo.
We know that quite a few of you have some serious design talent. If
you have the skills and are interested in making some extra cash over
the summer please read on...

What we are looking for -

• A logo that reflects our unique place at Columbia University.
• A logo that reflects our wealth of experience and diversity.
• A logo that displays our professionalism and productive intensity.
• A logo that incorporates the Columbia University Crown and the GS Owl.

How this will work -

• You may submit as many designs as you wish. In fact, the more the better.
• The GSSC will vote on the logo submissions to select the design we feel best fits the criteria we put forward
• The GSSC may ask that the selected logo be reworked or refined
• The graphic designer of the logo we select to represent the GSSC will be contracted for the design and paid $200 for their work.

The logo will be published on the web, as well as in print. We will require both large and small formats.

You may want to check out the current GSSC logo - it is that owl wearing a crown in the upper left corner of this page. A word of
caution - we are not looking for a redesign of the current logo.
Instead, we are looking for a uniquely creative representation of our
school as well as the students that have been elected to service.
