First Annual Spring Talent Showcase 2010

Dear GS Students,

For years the School of General Studies has been a mecca for dancers, singers, musicians, and other artists, yet never before has GS come together on one stage to showcase our many talents.

So due to popular demand, on Saturday, April 24th, in Lerner Auditorium, the General Studies Student Council will hold its first ever Spring Talent Showcase! This will be an opportunity for the students of GS to display our talents for the entire Columbia community.

More more information including programming, performers, and how to buy tickets, check out gslounge.com/talentshow2010.

School of GS Annual Spring Gala

The GSSC is proud to present the 2010 Annual Spring Gala "Fly Me to the Moon"!

Please join us for GSSC's largest event of the year! Take off the backpacks and put on your dancing shoes for a night out on the town!

This year the Gala will be held at The Roosevelt Hotel, a luxurious hotel situated in midtown. The decor of The Roosevelt combines unique historical heritage with modern interior design. The Gala will be held in Grand Ballroom, one of the last remaining traditional ballrooms in New York City. It contains magnificent chandeliers, gold-gilded 27ft. ceiling, iron-laced balconies and arched windows.
