5. Policy Town Hall

6. GS Performs Live! at Hudson Terrace


Forget the Grammys! Come watch GS performers play at Hudson Terrace! 
Relax and rock out at one of the best venues in New York City. Dress nicely and get there early, only the first 300 people will be admitted.

The School of General Studies is home to many singers, musicians, and dancers, to name a few, who may have the chance to perform in front of fellow GS students during a night of fun and music!

Pink Zone Night with Women's Basketball


Wear pink and join our women's basketball team, who will host Yale University as part of its participation in Pink Zone Night, a national program promoting breast cancer awareness. Half of all ticket proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research at the Columbia University Medical Center. The first 500 fans will receive a free, pink Columbia T-shirt!

Piano Competition


The Polish Student Society is looking for participants in its annual event, "A Night of Chopin: Piano Competition." Each competitor will play a 5-6 minute excerpt of their choosing of a piano piece authored by Chopin, and the winners will receive cash prizes. If you are interested, please send your name, the title of the piece you intend to play, your piano and performing experience, as well as your school affiliation and year to Martyna at mo2416@barnard.edu.
