3. Thanksgiving Volunteer Opportunity

Would you like to make a difference this Thanksgiving?
Invest a little of your time to volunteer at a local church mission to offer food to the homeless, thereby making their holiday and yours that much more special!

Place: Broadway Presbyterian Church (601 W. 114th Street)

4. Thanksgiving Dinner

You haven't yet made plans for Thanksgiving? Come and enjoy a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with other GS students!
A traditional turkey dinner (with appetizer, main course, and dessert) will be served, but a vegetarian option will also be offered.

Common Meal

The Office of the University Chaplain invites you to a common meal with a panel discussion on same sex marriage, moderated by Columbia University Chaplain Jewelnel Davis. The panel will feature Rt. Rev. Catherine S. Roskam (Suffragan Bishop, Episcopal Diocese of New York), Hepatoallah Youssef (Muslim Chaplain at Fairfield University), and Dr. Anne Klaeysen (Leader of the Ethical Humanist Campus Ministry at Columbia University).

Columbia vs. Cornell Football Game

Witness history being made as Columbia Football hosts in-state Ivy League rival Cornell in the inaugural Empire State Bowl! The first 300 students will even receive a long-sleeve shirt saying "Beat Cornell." This is the last Columbia home game of the 2010 campaign, so come and help send the seniors out with a bang!

Marine Corps Birthday Ball

Join the celebration of the Marine Corps' 235th birthday by attending a cake-cutting ceremony with a Marine color guard and dancing!
