on GSSC Constitution regarding Budget, election issues, absenteeism,  further finalization measures to take place at

housing walkthrough done 10.10.2009 Loc: 600 W113th Street. Pictures taken

ALP
issue: 6 month interval for qualification test. Disparity in price people are
paying for the class despite it being a non-credit course.

Paintball
event, worked out to be $112 per person due to the 25 present out of 54 that
were budgeted for. Improvement needed to allocate and forecast budgets to
prevent unexepected increase in expenses.

Changes
to budget pending vote: Separate budgets by class and representatives. This
budget which, will be the budget for the academic year.

Rolloever
expense from the student events “In the Hieghts” and “D’Agostino” a GSSC 2008-2009
expenditure which was wrongfully accounted for and those debited from the
budget. Amount: $1084.00 rough estimate for “At the Heights” and  “D’Agostino” expense pending evaluation and
report at next GSSC general body meeting.

Sue Fisherman: Installation of informational LCD screens in the lounge pending
further development, costs and proposals are needed for further progress.

Selection
of 3 volunteers for Ivy Council reps, a good way to see how other Ivy League
campuses handle non-traditional students to share ideas on how to enhance the
GS experience.

Shuttle
for the Arbor, Honey Sue Fisherman, to contact authority of shuttle. Recently
has been expanded however not operating during non-peak hours to assist
students on transportation

Dean
Awn to meeting to speak with other Deans of other colleges to address
familiarity issues and to facilitate GS representation in other colleges. A
delegation is needed to assist Dean Awn in meeting with the respective deans to
construct a presentation to address the issue.

Swipe
access issue, meeting with (_________) to address a more efficient process in
contrast to the sign in process which does not properly address the security
issue. Since computer logged, it is more accurate and accountability is better
tracked.
