"I thought you were an alcoholic suicidal individual who is thinking about setting up a drinking tournament"
This is what a friend of mine told me yesterday as I was on my way to New Jersey trying to run away from the place where I am having those "suicidal thoughts". To me the whole situation is hilarious, but since I am part of the General Studies Student Council I feel the need to clarify what was written in that minute. I also want to say that I can't picture myself as the person typing whatever is being said in those meetings simply because I think it's hard to type as fast as people talk, at least I know that I can't do it.
It is true that when I was asked during the meeting what had I been doing for the past seven days, I said that I had been thinking about committing suicide, then I was asked what I have been thinking to do for the next seven days. To that question my answer was that I was planning to attend an "alcohol training session" that as a member of the Student Council and particularly as a member of the Student Life Committee, I am required to attend in case that I want to organize an event in which alcohol is involved. I finished my answer to that question by saying that I will be working towards setting up a "pool tournament".
If you read the minute you can create your own interpretation of what I said, just like my friend did, which to me it's completely fine, I just felt the need to clarify it for the image of the Student Council as a whole. I don't know who typed in the minute and I am not typing this trying to start an argument or a fight with that person, I hope that's also clear, I simply wanted to let people know what I said and in which context I said it.

I typed those minutes
Hey man, I typed those minutes, I apologize for any misunderstanding. Is there something I can do to correct them?
Hey Brody don't worry about
Hey Brody don't worry about it man. Everything is cool, like I said, the whole thing to me is hilarious, but at the same time I don't want people to form an erroneous image about the members of the Student Council, because from my point of view, and I may be wrong, that could happen simply by interpreting something in the way my friend for example did. Thanks for asking anyway!
