Your student representative is Henry Wells (hcw2106@columbia.edu) - please get in touch with me if you have anything you would like to raise with the Student Council.

Last semester we held a succesful Thanksgiving Dinner, with over 60 students attending, and in February over 20 international students enjoyed a fun evening at Massawa Restaurant. I will be organizing another event in April, most likely a brunch at a Turkish restaurant. Details to follow.

If you have any other social events you would like to see happening for international students, then please feel free to suggest them to me.

Also, we are working on changing the system for ALP tests, allowing students to by-pass the test if they have a sufficient SAT score in English. If you have experiences with ALP that you would like to share then let me know, it might help get the changes through.
