Volunteer in Harlem at
PS 76’s Halloween Party
on All Hallow’s Eve.

Located just past Morningside Park, PS 76 is an elementary school that is a part of the Columbia community, and an institution that works very hard to ensure the education and welfare of its children. On Friday, October 31st they will be hosting a community Halloween Party complete with face painting, trick or treating and a Haunted House!

Volunteer for an hour or for the whole night – the party begins at 6:00 pm and goes to 10:00 pm. Volunteering starts at 3 and goes to 11 (somebody’s got to clean up all the wrappers and silly string).

Here’s the clincher, we need to know who is volunteering by Noon, Friday October 24th in order for them to set the even up properly.
Please only volunteer if you intend to come and please come in costume.

To volunteer write PS76 Halloween in the subject line and include your name, your email address, phone number and hours from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm that you would like to help.

Colleges Against Cancer

and

Relay for Life

It's a shocking statistic: 1 in 3 three people will get cancer in his or her lifetime. “Colleges Against Cancer” is the team of people who organizes and fundraises for the Columbia University Relay For Life. Relay For Life is a worldwide fundraising event, and is considered to be the largest not-for-profit fundraiser in the world. Over the past 5 years, we at Columbia have fundraised $324,000 for the American Cancer Society, a group that dedicates its work towards cancer research, outreach, and education programs.

Help our colleges in the fight against cancer.
